TruckerOn ("we") runs truckeron.com, a job board that connects CDL truck drivers with trucking companies. This page explains what information we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Account: your email, password (stored encrypted by our provider), name, account type (driver or company) and language.
- Driver profile: home state, CDL class, endorsements, years driving, routes and languages you choose to add.
- Phone number: only if you add it. It is hidden from companies unless you turn on "Show my phone number".
- Companies: company name, USDOT number, company email and job posts.
- Applications and messages between drivers and companies.
- Problem reports you send us.
Who can see your information
- Anyone can see approved job posts and the company name.
- A company can see a driver's name and profile only after that driver applies to one of its jobs. It sees the phone number only if the driver turned that on.
- Messages can only be read by the driver and the company in that application.
- The TruckerOn owner can see accounts, companies, jobs and reports to approve posts and stop scams.
How we use it
To run the job board, approve companies, show jobs, send account emails (like confirming your email or resetting your password), keep the site safe and fix problems. We check company USDOT numbers in public FMCSA records. We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers
We use Supabase (database and logins) and Vercel (website hosting). They store data on our behalf, in the United States.
Your choices
You can edit your profile any time. To delete your account and data, use "Report a problem" and write "Delete my account" from your logged-in account. We will delete it within 30 days.
Children
TruckerOn is for adults looking for or offering commercial driving work. It is not for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
